What materials are used on signage projects?
We use a wide range of high-quality, durable materials to suit your project, including acrylic and perspex, aluminium and stainless steel, vinyl and more. At GEETEE it’s important to us that our clients get the best return on their investment, so in sourcing materials, we are innovative in our designs and approach to be able to deliver the best materials for the job at the right price.
Are your signs environmentally friendly?
At GEETEE, we take sustainability seriously, ensuring materials from our signage projects are recycled responsibly. We’re committed to making a positive impact while delivering high-quality signage for the world’s leading brands.
We offer our clients a range of LED lighting options, which use only 15 – 20% of the energy that a traditional neon light would use, making them cheaper and more efficient to run.
I own a listed building; can I have signage installed?
Yes! However, if you’re opening a new business in a listed building or refurbishing your existing premises, you may need planning permission, advertising consent, or listed building consent.
This applies whether you are replacing existing signage, adding new signs, or installing illuminated signs. Local councils may also have specific rules regarding the design, size, and materials used to maintain the building’s heritage and character.
At GEETEE we’ve managed numerous projects that include historic and listed buildings and also projects that require multi-agency input. Our Project Managers are well versed in dealing with the regulations, compliance and permission issues that accompany such projects.
Do you offer maintenance or refurbishment services?
Yes we do. We have Protect 365 which, as the name suggests, is a complete, all encompassing maintenance package. We understand that signage requires regular maintenance to keep it looking professional and also ensure its viability. Badly maintained signage can be dangerous, especially if above a retail outlet or similar. It’s an accident waiting to happen and not something any brand wants to be involved with.
